Comprehensive copywriting for a pop-up luxe hotel.
I delivered:
A full suite of copy to support Veuve Clicquot’s Hotel Clicquot Noosa activation – consumer website copy; reservations partner landing page and concierge script; hero video supers; pre-sale and e-commerce emails; social posts and ads; and Hotel Clicquot Collection online store product descriptions.
The project:
Veuve Clicquot created Hotel Clicquot as a limited-season hotel where guests could live an indulgent champagne lifestyle in Noosa, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
I was engaged to support the Moët Hennessy marketing team by writing the pop-up hotel's website in the luxe tone of voice I'd perfected in my years as an editor at Vogue.
Building out from the website copy, I created a landing page and concierge script for Luxury Escapes, Veuve Clicquot’s reservations partner. I also wrote more than a dozen social posts rolled out across Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest, as well as emails driving consumers to the hotel website, and product descriptions for the hotel’s exclusive retail offering. And I helped brief and edit Hotel Clicquot sponsored content running across consumer titles Gourmet Traveller, Vogue, Vogue Living and Travel + Luxury.
The result:
• The first allocation of hotel rooms sold out within a few hours of the pre-sale eDM being delivered to Veuve Clicquot's database.
• The final release of rooms several weeks later sold out just as quickly.
